About Me

Sarah Higginbotham, RYT-200

One of my first yoga classes ever was a Power Yoga class. There was just something so empowering about these movements. Once I flew my first Crow Pose- I was an unstoppable arm balance and inversion junkie! I immediately wanted to learn and do it ALL, which is probably why those poses are my passion. Arm Balances and Inversions hold a special place in my heart as a yoga teacher because I LOVE helping people attain them. Listen, if I can, you can! Helping students reach their goals is beyond enjoyable for me. I want students in my class to feel like I am there to support and encourage them during their practice.

I completed my 200-hour certificate with Evolve Nutrition and Yoga in Knoxville, TN. The program changed my life and allowed me to sink even deeper into yoga as a practice and as a way of living my life. I enjoy being a student to the practice, and will be forever. I am deeply grateful for the loving wisdom my teachers have shared with me.

I teach a variety of classes. From Power Yoga, where you can expect to break a great sweat and leave feeling like such a badass, to Restorative Yoga where you are propped up with blankets and bolsters for deep rest and mental release- I hope students leave my class feeling refreshed, empowered, and with so much love and gratitude for themselves.  I also LOVE music, so feel free to recommend a song for my playlists! Although I love those Arm Balances and Inversions, my most favorite pose is Happy Baby!
